In the past she was associated with Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills, Headed the Department at Care Hospitals, Banjara Hills for 7 and half years & Yashoda hospitals, Somajigudafor 2 yrs and BEAMS hospital, Hyderabad for 4 years. She is a Visiting Laparoscopic Surgeon with NMC Speciality Hospitals, Dubai( every 6 wks). She is a Honorary Associate Professor with NTR University of Health Sciences.

She did her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, following which she underwent training in prenatal genetic evaluation , infertility, ultrasonography and in minimally invasive procedures (Hysteroscopy & Laparoscopy ) under the guidance of eminent doctors . She was the recipient of chief minister’s scholarship for academic excellence in X grade. She was the class representative at Medical School & sports captain in her high school
Dr. Manjula Anagani is the leading minimal access surgeon in Hyderabad with an experience of over 18 years. she has performed over 10000 laparoscopic surgeries, pioneered newer techniques, trained many gynaecologists, and surgeons and has organized many laparoscopic workshops. She handles many complicated surgeries with ease. She is a regular operating Faculty and guest faculty at various national & international laparoscopic workshops.
She is actively involved in post graduate teaching of DNB students. She has many prestigious awards and presentations to her credit. She has regular FAQ s in EENADU – largest circulating telugu news paper in A.P. & articles in Times of India & Deccan Chronicle. She started a group called “ SUYOSHA – meaning A PERFECT WOMEN” -to spread the awareness of child abuse, health education of adolescent girls, running a “anti Hysterectomy” campaign for preventing unnecessary hysterectomy at an age < 40 yrs. The groups’ main aim is to teach the aspiring doctors the intricacies in the fields of laparoscopy, infertility & minimally invasive Gynaecology.
She has co- founded an NGO “Pratyusha Support” working on Women Empowerment ; ‘Wish Come True’ for HIV infected kids; ‘Say Yes to Health’ and free health checkups in slums, orphanages and schools in collaboration with LivLife Hospitals.
She has collaborated with state of Andhra Pradesh to undertake Free Cervical Cancer vaccination for young girls in Kasturba Balika Vidyalayas in the state.
